Bruce Harpster, M.A., CCC-SLP is a speech-language pathologist (SLP) in private practice in Central New Jersey, specializing in treatment of children with autism, severe language delay and other disorders of speech and communication. He holds a license to practice speech-language pathology in the State of New Jersey, a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a member of both the New Jersey Speech-Language-Hearing Association and ASHA. As an SLP, Bruce served as an adjunct instructor at the Program in American Language Studies, Rutgers University and was on staff at the Cerebral Palsy Association of Middlesex County -- Lakeview School, Roosevelt Hospital in Edison, New Jersey, and with the Woodbridge Board of Education, Matthew Jago School. Before becoming an SLP, he taught for ten years at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. Bruce is a certified provider of the Compton P-ESL Accent Modification Program and enjoys providing accent-modification services and public-speaking instruction to working professionals who wish to improve their English-language intelligibility and public-speaking skills. His academic degrees include an A.A.S. in Theatre from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, a B.A. with Highest Honors in Linguistics from Rutgers and an M.A. in Communication Disorders from Kean University.
